Sorry to bump an old(ish) thread, but I got calibration fluid today. Surprise! My refractometer was off by .002. I didn't expect this because it read a flatline 0.0 w/ RO water and I didn't think the slope would really be affected. What I thought was 1.026, however, turned out to be a shade below 1.024. A simple turn of the screw and I'm back on track, but I just wanted to say to anybody neglecting to do this that it was $5 I'm happy I spent.
