Calibrating tempature probe

My glass thermometer reads 78F and my new GHL temp probe reads 80F.

What is the proper procedure to calibrate the probe?

Thanks again!!

Hiya

There is not one, as these are factory calibrated and electronically cross referenced for accuracy.

$80 lab grade temp probe versus a couple of bucks glass thermometer that has a tolerence of 2 degrees industry standard.

Trust the GHL probe every time. :)

and if you don't trust:

you can enter an offset for the temperature in ProfiLuxControl (no calibration - just a manipulation of the reading!)

Very interesting. I didn't know a mercury thermometer could be off by a couple degrees.

Thanks guys!
