You probably have a Urolophus halleri. There have been a number of juveniles at wholesalers this year. I prefer to keep them in cooler water, (68 degrees) although they do range south to Panama, so I suppose they can handle cool- tropical temperatures.
The "wall climbing" is probably not a real problem - one that I have did that when it was in quarantine, and then settled down when I moved it to a larger tank. One concern - if your substrate has a large number of bristle worms and/or copepods, or if the substrate is too large and too sharp, the ray may well be trying to stay up off the bottom. The key would be - does the ray go to the bottom to feed and does it settle down at night? If it does, then I wouldn't worry.
