Looking for best value camara used is fine that I can take pictures with leds and have the camara actually look like what my eyes see.

What do u recommend?

First, I recommend studying photography. What you're asking has far more to do with the photographer than the camera. Most modern cameras can accomplish what you're asking if used correctly. I have a Canon 5d Mark II, a Canon 40D, and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 and a Canon SD500. The range of prices varies from a couple hundred to a couple thousand, but I consider all of them good value cameras, and I can accomplish the task you've set forth with any of them.

Your best bet will be a camera that can shoot in RAW, which probably narrows it down to a couple hundred models. As far as best value, that question is nearly impossible to answer. We're not even sure what class camera you have in mind (SLR, micro 4/3, compact, etc.). If you give us something more to go on like budget, any particular features you're looking for, experience and additional things you'd use the camera for, that would really help.

Well newbe as far as photography. It would be nice if I could get a used cam for say $200 range but can pay more if need be. I want to take shots of my sps , but would also use it for general family use but my phone takes good enough pic for familly stuff for me anyways. Really main use is for tank pictures of fish and coral. Any help and guidence would be great. I know I will be going to have to study a lot to take good pictures. I'm ok with that but need something in my hands to practice wit. My phone and point and shot cam just not working in tank.

Well, for $200, a point and shoot camera is going to be what you're looking at. You could pick up an old model digital SLR like a Canon 10D or 20D for that price, but the lens would put you over budget. You may be able to pick up a used higher-end point and shoot camera for around $200. Something like this would probably work:

I don't have any personal experience with that camera, but I believe that's a pretty decent lens, and it shoots raw, which is a huge bonus for aquarium photography. What type of point and shoot camera do you currently have?

I have a Sony point and click. Budget is not a huge issue. I can save a bit longer if I need to. Does 300 $ put me in range?

It really depends on your expectations. What one person may consider a great photograph may be completely unacceptable for someone else. I'm not sure what model Sony you have, but you may very well be able to achieve acceptable results with what you have. As I said before, a large part of it has to do with how the camera is operated, so even if you spend $3000 on camera gear, there is absolutely no guarantee your pictures will improve significantly.
