Hmmm, I'm still not sure there is a difference based on what we can physically see. Just because it's more obvious with fairies as they go through stages, than flashers.

Well, I don't know. I can only report on what I have observed with many fairies and flashers. With C. bathyphilus, it was extremely obvious.

Hmmm now if only I could find a female lol. Maybe then his spikes would come back. I find it hard to believe he was a young wrasse as he was fairly big already when I got him (3").
