Can a Mag pump break when thrown?

Mag drives are pretty solid except for the shaft. I've broken 2 before. Be sure to do a good vinegar bath for a day before trying to take it apart so it comes apart alot easier when cleaning it.

Try and keep a spare that way you can pop one off, pop the other in and clean the used one when you get time.

You can find them for less that $50 alot of times in the for sale forum. I've collected 3 of them in good shape with a few spare shaft too.

No wonder the USPS lost $8.5Billion this past year!!!

No kidding! :spin2: The bad apples, even though typically a small percentage, are often the ones that bring condemnation upon any organization. A lot of good cops suffer from that, too...

Runfrumu, did your shafts break during normal use? Do you know where to order spare shafts to use in the event of failure, or do you have to find a used pump to easily get hold of one?
