On my live rock there appears to be a coral of about 1 cm large. It sits on a less illuminated part of a rock. Sometimes (usually at night), the coral retracts and then it looks like a little white hill with holes in it.

Can anyone identify this coral please?
(by the way, I started my tank about 3 months ago).

Does this coral seem to have a skeleton of any sort? Can you count the tentacles? It seems like its around 13?

From the photo I count around 12 tentacles. You cannot see it by eye, because it is too small.

It does have a skeleton, which looks like a white piece of rock with holes in it.

Maybe it is a goniopora indeed.
