Can anyone help...Coral ID

In my LFS the other day they had nice piece of live rock with a skeletal structure on it which they threw in for free. Since putting it in the tank it's showing signs of life but not sure what it is. Thoughts are its either a majano anemone or a busted Scoly coming back to life.

Would be interested to know whether I need to take it out or let it grow? IMAG0933.jpg

I agree with scoly. I'd keep it in lower light and lower flow, make sure you keep parameters stable. I'd also feed it one of the many powdered coral foods like Reef Frenzy, Reef chili, Reef snow etc. Feed it sparingly but feed it often and keep it in lower light for a while. It does seem to like where it is

Really interesting that you say that. This picture was taken at night with a torch to give the light. In the day time it is pretty much completely hidden which I assume is because it is in the light. Will move it into the shade and get some coral food. The LFS thought it was a Scoly too.

Thanks to you both for your help
