Hi all,

I have had my tank running for about a year or so now and it appears well balanced with good parameters.

I have in the past had outbreaks of aiptasia but these are now quite rare with the occasional appearances

This has made me quite weary of strange appearances though. I have two areas of rock that have small colonies of the attached appear...

Can anyone please tell me what this might be? It does seem to be keeping itself localised but I wanted to check that it is not problematic.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks a lot for the fast replies.
Before now I had never heard of Hydroids!
From what I have just read, it would be a good idea to eradicate these asap, right?
If so, do Peps do the job well, or am I looking at a chemical solution?
