I just found this at the bottom of my tank which leads me to think I have a little buddy in there I need to get out. I only found the claw which looks to be part of a molt, so needless to say he's growing. I found some white at the base of a coral which doesn't look to be any kind of tissue necrosis or Alk issues, so I may have found what has been causing it.
