can anyone id this

i have watched this grow from a spec to something about 1/4 the size of a dime. it is always on the glass on the same side of the tank.

Can you get a better pic of it and maybe a pic from the side? My eyes aren't what they used to be.

They're like a snail, but their shell does not spiral like a snail's.
