Can anyone identify this animal

This creature appeared in my aquarium a few weeks ago. Does anyone know what it is? It is the size of a quarter and craws around on the live rock. It appears to have several legs.

Are you sure that's not a shell?

Otherwise it could be some kind of flatworm.

We found pictures of limpets that match this one so we do think that's what it is. Any id a if it is friend or foe for a tank? We couldn't find anything certain either way.

My understanding is keyhole limpets will munch on corals. But overall good cleanup crew

It's a keyhole limpet, alright. They are generally considered to be OK, although there are a few reports of the fleshy limpets (like yours) grazing on things that you might not want to be eaten.
