can anyone identify this hitchiker sps?

This sps appeared out of nowhere as a 1 polyp "frag" on a zoa rock I ordered. For the first few months, I couldn't tell what it was, I actually had no idea because it was only showing one pore/polyp. 4 months later, this is what it looks like.

I was actually thinking about doing that, but the zoas haven't had any ill effects on it. When it was smaller it was on the brink of being covered, but it managed to push through the zoas. Even the base (which you can't see) looks to be healthy and does not look damaged. When it gets a little bigger in a month or two, I will for sure frag it or try to remove it and put it in a more ideal place.

yeah i seriously cant imagine that thing lasting too long there, even if it pushed through, id move it before they polyps remember that they like to wreck sps

I looks like it could possibly be A. tenuis but there is no way to be 100% accurate. As far as moving it... it's still too small in my opinion. It would be easier to keep the zoos away from it.

Thanks for the input. I just now realized that there is an I.D. forum, sorry for posting in the wrong area. Mods please move this thread if need be.

I will keep an eye on the zoas, if it looks like they are becoming a problem, I will move the sps asap. Thanks!

Zoas don't hurt any of my acros that they touch. I always laugh when people freak out about them touching.
+1 on tenuis

Looks like tenuis to me also. I had a small frag of Green Slimer that was over taken by zoas and they killed it. But your acro look to be doing great in the pic. It will only continue to grow upward to you may be fine by leaving it.

Well you can see that that one has no problems at all. Looks to be doing really great in fact. But my experience with zoas and sps is they will fight. I cut a bunch off a rock because they got to close to my ORA Tenuis for me.
