Can anyone identify this potential parasite?

I've had my nano-reef tank for over 4 years and just found this worm hanging off of my live rock this evening. I've never seen anything like it. Has anyone ever had one of these before, and is it a parasite?

As a precaution, I went ahead and removed it from my tank since it doesn't look beneficial at all.
