can anyone put a name on this coral

Just got it for a great price, Can anyone give me a name to go along with it? It is about 4 inch wide the polyps just came out today (got it on sat.)

Looks like a turbinaria
...........cup turbinariamay also be referred to as a pagota turbinaria

Thanks for the id I can only find one other picture on the web that looks somewhat like mine. Will it eventually cup (mine is flat)?

Sec question I have it on my sand bed. How will I know if it is getting to much or not enough light? The polyps are out and it looks good but I want to make sure I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t kill it

I agree with brian.

looks like a pagota to me. AKA cup coral... I think. they like light so it might help to move it higher. Yes, it will curve up as it grows.

That's a Pagoda,they love light and gentle flow.If they don't get enough flow will died.(previous experience).
