Can Black Sun Tubastrea Live Close To Orange Tubastrea?

I bought a piece of coral at a LFS and its a Black Sun Tubastrea with small orange Tubastrea polyps on the same piece. My question is when they grow and eventually touch each other will they attack each other?

They are essentially the same coral and not likely to recognize that they are different colors.

They're actually different species, not color varieties of the same coral (although they belong to the same genus). But I've seen photos of a RC member's NPS tank with a colony of each of these corals almost touching each other, both polyped out and looking happy. They should be OK.
