Can BTA poop harm corals?

Basically... can their brown stringy poop harm SPS corals? Ive seen some get hung up on my SPS sometimes and it seems to irritate them to the point of starting to slime a lot. Is their poop similar to fish poop?

I have many BTA's and have never had any of it harm the corals that I have seen.
And it seems to disapear soon after turning loose from the anemone.
It is probably being eating by the shrimp or snails or anything else in there that has a taste for that sort of thing
But then I don't have hard corals, just softies.
Maybe someone that has hard corals will pipe in with their experiences with that.
