Can bulb anemones dissapear?

Ok so I got a bulb anemone on THursday from liveaquaria. Friday when I go up he moved to the back of the tank.Saturday he was on the top of live rock on the top of the tank anbd throught the day he was slowly moving down the LR. When I went to bed I saw a sweeper coming out from the middle section of the tank and was happy it was there cause thats where I Wanted it to go originally.

THis morning I saw bits and pieces in the tank and no bulb. I have the Modular Surface Skimmer but not sure if that matters and it got sucked up into the filter.

ANy ideas?

Only if related to Whodini! they can hide pretty good in the rock work if the are shrunken up it will be even harder to find!
