can bulbs get too much circulation?

I noticed something weird today. I was doing some cleaning and had to unplug my fans for a while. While working on the tank I noticed that the color of my tank was muh warmer and nicer. I have 2 radio shack fans on the back of my hood. They are all the way on the end, basicly blowing across my VHO endcaps. Thing is although I have a chiller, I like the fans because they cause my chiller to hardly come on and they prevent the burning wood smell my 175w 14k makes without them.

Any idea what I could do to have the circulation but still keep the color warm. Is it because they are blowing on the endcaps, r is it just the air in general? Think I should try using one fan? I know my lights are on the bluish spectrum(175w 14k hami and 2 three foot actinic and 1 three foot actinic white), but the color is nice, I just liked the brighter warmer color I got today.

Maybe I'm just overthinking, idunno, but any ideas would help.

From what I heard certain types of lights have ideal temps to work at, such as T5ho I have heard do best at about 90 and the same goes for MH. I’m not sure the exact temps but that should be the reason. Also I have heard if you have fans blowing directly on MH bulbs it reduces there life.

The fans aren't aimed directly at my MH, which is a single fixture smack dab in the cener of my hood. The fan's are hitting right across my VHO endcaps. I may have to get a standalone temp controller for my fans.
