Can clams be placed extremely close to corals?

Can clams be placed near shrooms, LPS and SPS? I mean where the coral would touch the clam.

My clams touch corals of all kinds (SPS, LPS and softies) and even Anemones. Nothing seems to bother them.

I dont know enough to say that theres nothing out there that would bother them so just keep an eye out. You will see their mantle pinched a bit in the area.

I have a clam between 2 giant carpet anemones(known to be very potent). The carpets frequently rest directly on the mantle with no ill effects.

Okay thanks. I've seen pictures and videos of clams living the middle of SPS colonies, fully surrounded with no ill effect. Didn't know if LPS, shrooms and zoas were okay.
