can crocea clam have ich?

i have just bought a crocea clam and after two days, i see small white spots on the mantle. I looks like ich, but i have not heard of a clam infected with this disease? Is it possible for a clam to have ich?

i dont think so but there is somthing called white spot,and if thats what it is see if u can send it back,nasty stuff. if u can look at D. Knops book it has pics and can tell u more.we got ride of what we thought was white spot a few years back but dont know if thats what it realy was or if what we did was a flook
