Can cupramine levels drop?

Hi everyone.

Im currently treating with Cupramine and am being extremely paranoid about it cuz my Achilles is in there

I had my dose around .5 after 4 days, then I noticed today after testing my levels seem a bit lower, thought I might just be reading the test kit incorrectly. I havent done any water changes and I dont have anything that can absorb it in the tank (bare bottom with PVC)

So could teh levels have dropped on their own or is it just my imagination.

The saltwater contains calcium - that's enough to bind some copper (and deplete the calcium content of the water)

They can also rise with evaporation

What type of filtration are you using? When using a HOB or canister filter, they can sometimes absorb a little.

Also, don't know how true it is, but I have heard that the sealant in the tanks can absorb some cooper.
