Can cyano kill SPS frags?

I have some cyano in my tank atm.
I came home today to find an SPS frag suffering from RTN. There was cyano around its base before I left this morning but didn't have time to blast it with my turkey baster.

Can cyano sting SPS causing RTN? All other parameters are in check.

In my experience, if cyanno gets lifted off of sand via a power head, and sits on the coral for too long, then yes. But it usually will not grow on or sting coral tissue.
