I have a Sailfin tang,Yellow Tang, and a Blue Tang, over the past month my sailfin tang has gotten extremely large, the belly has blown up to about twice its size. It eats normally.

Im just curious if its possible, if anyone has ever heard of this please let me know

There are some tang hybrids for sale from time to time. I don´t know if they were intended or just happenned during spawning of two or more species at the same time and area.

These hybrid tangs are caught from the wild. Tangs release their gametes in the water column to be fertilized and then they drift away, so captive breeding would be difficult to near impossible at our current technological level.

I aggree with Travis ! Tangs have not been successfully raised in captivity so ALL their hybrids are wild caugth.
After breeding tangs becomes more consistent and artificial techniques are experimented (it´s a looooooooong time) they will sure be tried by some companies.
