Can drab colored ric's color up?

My LFS always has Florida ric's...but they are usually pretty drab green/orange. Could it be poor lighting or water quality. Is there a decent chance they'll color up in my tank similar to how an SPS color varires greatly upon tank condition?

I realize there are tons of color morphs and I'm sure there are just some ordinary looking ones... but in general can they change/morph color?

Chances are very good they will color up in your tank if conditions are right. They are usually stressed a bit when they first hit the LFS and are sold before they can really settle in.
