Can elegance coral kill small fish

Does anyone know if an elegance coral has a sting strong enough to kill small fish such as mandarins? or other small slow moving fish that might park on them?

I've had a large elegance for years, fish are smart enough to avoid it, and I've never seen it eat a fish. It isn't sticky like an anemone, but I wouldn't keep an elegance and $1000 basslet alone in a 55 gallon.

Maybe the possibility of a sick or weak fish. I wouldn't see it killing a healthy fish.
