Can everyone please post there wild caught true perc pics??

I was thinking about buying wild caught true percs online but want to see if there is a wide variety of the stripe shape and colors that I'm looking for in my perc(yes i know there will be, but i'm looking for specific things in my perc and I believe most of them will look the way i want). If not I'll buy two online and just hope for the best. So please post your pics of your WC true percs .

why do you want wild caught? there are plenty of TR that will look just as nice and will be much healthier.

I have yet to find a TR perc that I have liked, the black lines from what I have seen are no where near as thick or as bold as wild, and all the TR I have seen also have pretty uniform stripes so they all I guess look the same in my eyes, just personal preference I guess.

What exactly are you looking for in your clown? Onyx or just thick stripes? odd bar patterns? bright orange or what?

If you are looking for thick back and nice bright orange get then for a certian location like PNG or SI. PNG usually has more black to them...sometimes onyx colors. SI are usually a brighter orange from my experience.

The odd bar patterns...good luck finding those, unless you get one from ORA. Those are 1 in a million!

I want ones from PNG, I like the lighter orange color of them and also the thicker black, I'm not looking for onyx ones I just like how the black/white/orange are not uniform like it seems to be on TR ones. You can also see on liveaquaria an example of there TR percs, I know they fill out a bit but I don't think its anything like WC ones.
Nice percs Jovreefer, they have a great design on them.

my avatar. thats a pic of my true perc that was wild. my friend got her a yaer ago and she lost her mate in a tank crash. she has been with me for over a year now and is fat and happy. even eats from my hand.

wc si perc w/ odd pattern. the one at top is a captive bred one. i do agree though, ithink in general most wc si clowns have brighter colors, but not always. as you can see both have very strong deep colors. i feed frozen mysis, soaked w/ selcon/garlic and mixed in w/ frozen cyclo.

I think TR are just as good looking as the wild caught ones. I don't understand the argument that they are not as good looking.

see how the black line towards the dorsal fin, btn the 1/2 bar? its very defined.

now look at the center of the black strip along the inside of the 3rd bar, its fuzzy. in time, that might stretch over and reach to the 2nd bar.
