Can free-swimming ich be seen easily by the naked eyes?
I have white little dots stuck on the sides of the tank and they crawl around. They also swim around on the water surface.
They are very small dots but can be seen easily.
Are these ich? or some other parasites?
Definitely not ich and probably not any other parasite. As freed has indicated these are likely to be "pods" which are typical of maturing tanks and considered beneficial.
