Can hammers, frogspawn, and torch live in one tank?

Coral Hoarder
Im thinking of purchasing a torch coral so I can just have the big three in my tank: Frogspawn, Hammer, and (if its a go) Torch Coral.

My question is, will there be some sort of warfare if all three exist in one tank? What if they touch each other? I have plenty of room to keep them seperate so space is not an issue. Both my frogspawn and hammer I got as super tiny frags because I enjoy watching my frags turn into beautiful large corals.

Also, if anyone has a pic of all three in their tank can you post? Id love to see some pics since I have actually never seen a picture with all three together.

yeah that should be fine i have 5 different hammers 3 frogspawns and a torch all are good ill try to post a pic im not sure if they sting eachother id keep a lil space im pretty sure hammer and frog can touch but i wouldnt even risk it

I have a hammer and a frogspawn touching each other with no problems. The torch will eventually reach them too and I don't expect any difficulty then either. Here's a photo of the hammer on the bottom and the frogspawn right above it. Can you tell where they touch?

I see, well that is very reassuring. Thank you all for the input and the picture. I am more of a "gotta see it to believe it guy" so thanks for the photo. I will look around for a torch frag. This will be a true LPS tank once I find that addition! :spin1:

I really have nothing to contribute to this thread, but wanted to say that I love hammer corals. I really think they are my favorite corals. I find myself staring at mine all the time. :D

All three listed species are in there and get along just fine. As a general rule, mixing Hammers of different origins works poorly, as does mixing Hammers and Torches - but anything else and it's game on.

Beautiful setup n0rk. I only have one hammer and its fairly small right now.. I dont plan on getting another one unless there is one that truly wows me.

Be careful with the torch. I had a torch and hammer that grew to the point of touching and they had too be separated. They used to attack each other constantly. Somtimes torches don't play well with family.

they are pretty much good next to each other, but if one is stress or in poor health, and it is next to a very healthy aggressive piece (hammer or frogspawn or torch) the stings might be too much for the unhealthy one and melt away.
