Can I add a new clown(s)?

I had a beautiful pair of True Perculas for about 1 1/2 years and one suddenly dies the other day. I am really bummed out about it.

Since these guys are not very aggressive, would I be able to add another one or two Perculas to the tank? Tank is a 70 gallon heavily stocked with LPS and SPS.

I would only add one. Was it the male or female?

I am not sure as they both grew and the male caught up to the female. My best guess would be that the male died. I guess I should therefore by a small one.
