I just picked up this aquacultured acro from my LFS and was wondering if I can dip it in coral RX. I know some corals like hawkins echinata can't be dipped and i found that out the hard way. Also what kind of acro is it?

Yes it can be dipped I Dip all acros just because ro go by the motto trust nobody. One of the only 2 acros I wont dip is Tierra del FUEGO and ice fire echinata.

No you cant.....you have to give it to me. I am the only one with the proper chemical to dip it properly....lol

The problem with dipping such a large coral is a lot of the time AEFW will survive; as far I know coral Rx does not kill red bugs. So to think your safe after you dip is somewhat of a misnomer. I will cut the base off mariculture corals and sometimes divide them into two or three branches if possible. The coral seems to do much better in the long run.
