Can I get a BTA?

My tank is only about 2 months old, its a 29g tank. I migrated from my 10gallon tank over. Its got a 5" DSB and my liverock is well cycled, all params are zero. Most of my liverock is beginning to be covered in coraline. I have a HOB AC110 modded fuge/mechanical filter and I have a CSS65. My light is a 150w MH sunpod. I know that anenomes like well established tanks, but my clown is hosting in my green fuzzy mushrooms and they don't like it very much. Do you guys think I would be ok picking up a green BTA?

Current livestock:
2 Scarlet Cleaners
1 Peppermint Shrimp(aspastia destroyer)
7 nassarius
4 astrea
2 cerith
10assorted hermits
1 onyx clown

Oh also, the DSB is from a WELL established tank. I got the DSB from a local reefer whom had it for 3 years. Its full of pods and worms.

IME, I would never again put an anemone in the same tank as shrimp. My cleaner shrimp is !vicious! and will steal silversides OUT OF my nem's mouth, no matter how well fed the shrimp is.

Other than that, I'd wait a bit and let your tank mature for at least another month or so.

I would go place xb0x for 4 months then add the BTA

Ok I can wait, its no big deal. Any reccomendations on how I can get him to host with something else other than my green fuzzy mushrooms? Hes already split one of them, he likes to chew on them... lol

try a coral like hammer, frogspawn, or even a large feather duster. those are things that my clowns have hosted in the past. then again they also hoster heaters, powerheads, rocks they seemed to like, so there is no guarantee.

I would wait for a nother few weeks do some wc and go for it, start shopping the lfs or on line for a anemone. All of your sand has been form a established set up, would proable go for it now but that me. :bum:

This is a pic of my 20L that has been going for 4 months, the anemones where put in the second week of setting up. All have double in size.They will be moved to 120 pretty soon.
