i have a 75 FOWLR tank and i was wondering if i could add a yellow tang ?..i dont have a ton of live rock so there is alot of room to swim.. i also have a coral beauty angel, a yellow damsel, royal gramma, 2 false percula clowns, six line wrasse, and convict blenny.

Just my opinion, but I'd figure out why you have algae and fix the problem that way. Adding an eating/pooping machine to a small tank with water quality issues doesn't fix many problems. Especially when the tank is on the very small side to support the fish anyway...

I agree with TampaReefer, also Tangs shouldnt be bought to clean up nuissance algae they very rarely eat that kind of algea.

This. Also, all tangs have a plant-heavy diet. Try a smaller Ctenochaetus spp. tang, like a tomini if you're dead set on getting a tang.

i got a yellow tang for my 75 to A. eat algae and B. cuase it looked cool. it ate the algae but when it grows up it will feel too cramped. i dont really have a plan yet lol. i would get a tomini cuase i love the colors and tehy are smaller.
