Thats what I thought but wanted to make sure, thanks!

Would you happen to know how long it would take for him to regain color? He still won't eat but he puffed up and found a place he likes and looks 10x better than he did at the LFS

make sure to feed him! I would start with mysis and move up krill. As it gets larger I am sure you could give it peeled shrimps/

yeah, hopefully it will start to get back some of its zoozanthelle and eventually make a full recovery.

Long tentacled anemone, Macrodactyla dorensis

I agree lta.

Some clownfish hosting anemones are found white and/ or bleached in the wild under full sunlight, but the reasons are not clear.

I would love to see if these same anemones in the wild have regained their color.. or if they are still the same or....?

when i got my BTA he too was white..i literally had to force feed him, he had no stick to him and would drop food...so i had to hold and wiggle the food in his mouth until he started to eat it....then i had to beat the clowns and shrimp while he ingested the food...did that for a couple weeks until it regained strength...at the time it was 2" across and eating mysis. now he is well over 8" and eats anything that touches him...
