can I glue one coral to the other?

I've got this sunset montipora that has gotten to be very big over the years, but now it's starting to take up some prime real estate. I was just wondering if I would have any problems super gluing a coral that's on a frag plug to it or not? TY. :)

You can do it, but the problem is, the sunset will end up encrusting over the plug and up the frag. I have seen it done with gluing frag plugs to caps, but with encrusting monti's, you will end up with a problem.

All the mounds/bumps on the left side of this sunset use to be rpe zoas. The sunset will do the same with acros. They can be invasive.

Ok, thanks. :)

I woul make sure you do it in a way that the sunset couldn't get to it, like using an elevated platform. I glued a ponape colony onto a GSP colony, the ponape was on a thick base, plus it shades the GSP close to it so it can't grow up the base of the ponape. Been like that for over 8 months.

The encrusting montis will run over just about anything
