i have a pink tipped and a long tentacled anemone in my 50 right now which has relatively low flow.. my 75 has 4 maxijet 1200s with wavemaster pro on it so its a bit more flow.. could i have to much flow for my anemones?? i havent switched them over yet but i just want to know before i switch them over because i dont want to harm them or anything..

let me know!
thanks

i dont even have that in my 50.. i just have the return of the HOB filter and the MJ 900 in the corner.. but that not my problem.. i need to know if i have to much in my 75

That is quite a lot of flow in your 75 gallon. I would take one powerhead off but keep the remaining three and it should be fine.

Depending upon which long tentacle anemone you have, the flow preference can vary. Macrodactyla doreensis prefers less than H. crispa.

could i just put it in there and see what it does?? is there a way to tell?? my clownfish are adapted to the anemone in the old tank but now they are in the new and id hate to have them go without it lol but they also host to my xenia coral so its okay lol.. if anything id get rid of the anemone not the flow but id rather not have to do either :)

What kind of lighting do you have over your 75? I would rathe get rid of the flow. Just take it out...you don't have to sell it or get rid of it. I guess you could put the anemones in there, but if you seem them stressed or moving a lot, take a powerhead out and see what that does. Also keep your powerhead intakes blocked off.

i have 4x54 T5 with SLR reflectors.. um well i need the flow for some of my corals so taking it out unfortuneatly isnt much of an option.. im not sure of the exact species of the long tentacled anemone.. ill see if i can get a pic
