Can I keep 3 True Per?

Hi,
This is my problem, I have 2 true per and they are about the same size ( 2 inches ). So, I don't think they are a pair. They are fine and they sometimes chase each other. I introduce a 3rd small one and it was chased by both of them. I cannot take any of them out. Will they kill the small one?

Until 2 pair off and chase the other one away and bite it and kick its butt..

i purchased 5 False Perc's (small) at the same time. 1 jumped out and i'm down to 4. They get along OK but do chase each other around from time to time. The 4 I have, have been together about 10 months now.

But my problem is having introduce a smaller one to 2 large ones afterwards, Not at the same time together. The new small one is hiding after being chased and nipped. He is not eating and defintely is very scared.
