can i keep a clam?

i was wondering if i could keep a clam.. i run 234w of T5. giesemann bulbs.. midday, actinic+, pure actinic, and pure blue. they sit about 15 inches off of my sandbed

Also how long has your tank been set up, you should wait till it is at least 6 months old
