Can I keep a mandering with my existing fish

I want to try a Manderin next in my 400g reef. Its been up and running for 18 months now with 80kg+ of live rock in there. The rock is teeming with amphipods, worms, cocopods and the like - lots of fun watching them at night with a torch so im pretty sure the food is there for one.

On the compatible-fish front I think most if not all of my fish are compatible;

1 Yellow Tang
2 Regal tangs
1 clown tang
3 Green chromis
3 damsels (unknown species)
1 clownfish
1 Pjama wrasse

Its the Pjama Wrasse that im unsure will be compatible with the manderin as he holds a similar niche and is a similar size.

My tank is 7' x 32"h x 30w with lots of hiding spaces.

Any thoughts?

You could have a pair if you can get a male and female and introduce them at the same time. One would easily do well and you have enough capacity for two.

Excellent :-)

I have always wanted a manderin since I started up years back but never wanted to take the risk of starving one. I shall keep my eye out for a pair then I think :-)

It is difficult to find females as their coloration is not as good and they are smaller. Be careful that they are not selling a circumcised male as a female (clipped dorsal fin). Enjoy!!
