can I keep a ywg and a lawnmower blenny together in a 30gal

Hi, I have been keeping a 30gal tank for over 2 yrs, I'm thinking of adding alawnmover blenny into the tank, the currently stocking list includes: 1 ywg and 1 clown fish and CUC. thx:fun2:

I put a lawnmower in a 150g with my YWG and the blenny terrorized him. (blenny was much bigger than ywg) I got lucky and trapped the lawnmower within 1 hour. He's gone... Id be worried about a 30g after my personal experience. But maybe someone will post with success!

my ywg had been living in the tank for more than 2 yrs and only come out during feeding, I'm thinking of getting a small blenny so at least I can see it scraping algae....

The YWG is a cool fish but all it does is sit in a burrow if you were to buy a shrimp to share the burrow with the YWG I would pick the YWG but if you have other fish, and corals that can tolerate the aggression of the LMB i would bick the LMB because he is very smart/care (always watching for predators) and if is fun to watch him pick at algae and perch on rocks with his big googley eyes.
