can i keep clams under my lights?

i have T5 bulbs. 6 bulbs with individual reflectors and its 234w on my 56 gallon tank. can i keep clams under this lighting? i have bought clams before but i don't know what happened to them. they were just empty when i got back home. maybe my shrimp or a fish ate it but besides this is it possible to keep them under the lights that i have?

Yes. Im running 6x54 over a 75g and keep a Crocea half way up the on the rocks

would i need to add calcium to the tank if i put one in because the rest of my corals are soft so i don't add calcium.

As long as you test for it and see the need to add it.

clams lay down calcium carbonate shells so for healthy growth you'll need it above 350 ppm
