can i keep clams with 260watts in a 55 gl

hi i was thinking about getting a clam, and would like to know if my lighting is ok. i have two 10,000 k 65watt whites and two blue 65 watts over my 55 gl reef tank. i have had my tank up and running for 8 mouths and i have alot of solt corals, and two hard corals that are growing. i want to know what kind of clam to get? thanks for all thew help mike

you can keep squamies and derasa and maximas would be pushing it a little.

Agreed. Derasa or squamosa would be what you want. You would need more light for maximas or croceas...I've seen WAY too many of them die in peoples tanks with the same light, while everything else thrived.
