Can i make wave

I was wondering if i can make wave with 2x6055 and 1x6105 in a 6 feet 155 gallon tank. I put all my pump on one side. If it is what is the pulsing setting in seconds and delay? I have tried so many setting but unable to do it, it seem only one directional flow

The timing varies with the dimensions and layout of the tank but would be somewhere between about .40 and .80 seconds most likely and the off and on time would be equal. You would need to run one on each end of the tank aimed at each other and I would expect you would need 2 6105 at a minimum to get much of a wave on this size tank. You would run them inversely so one is off when the other is on.

I am thinking of buying the 6215 wave box but my tank is 155 gallon bow front with dual corner overflows. The water clearance is about 1 inch. I read lots of thread and some said it will be fine, and some said not.

I would like to hear opinion from you. Also, where would i position the wavebox in my tank?

also. should i go with 2 more 6105 or the wave box? They are very much the same price and i really want to see my lps wave back and forth

I would go with the wavebox. It will need to be placed on one side of the tank. 1" is fine, you can adjust the wave height. You will want at least a 3/4" tall wave for maximum effect.

so i got the wave box with 6091 controller and was able to make some wave but not so much. If i hook up to controller what should be the time? It is 6 feet tank

Every tank varies, not just by length but rock layout and width and depth also have an effect. I would start with the pump at full power and on the 6091 start with the timing at the 11 oclock position and very, very slowly turn up to about the 3 o clock position, the timing will be somewhere in this range, most likely between 12 and 2.

You are right on. It is at 12 o clock position. I was wondering what is the real pulse time because i would like to control it with my apex controller.

A rough estimate would be about .5 seconds. The range is roughly .3- 1.4
