Im taking one of my tanks down and am wondering if I can mix a 4-5" sub adult colours Koran angel with a 4" Emperor angel.

It's been done before and it's worked. It's been done before and failed. The larger the tank, the better your odds. If you do not have an alternative/back up plan if they don't work out together, a different tank for an angel, returning the fish to the store, a buddy with an appropriately sized tank that will take one, etc, it's advised not to try it.
Really depends on the size of the tank and how long the Emporer has been establish, along with the other tank mates .There are so many variables. I can say mixing angels should only be done by avanced aquarists that have did lots of research.

It can be done, but requires space and patience ... maybe some rockwork changes will be required to make them live together ... growing some of them in my tank ... 2 emperors and 1 koran included ...

4' 150g which Im giving to a friend. I ended up selling the Koran. Thought it best to keep my Emperor happy.

Good move. Your emperor will want a much bigger tank then that though.
Great move, IMO an emporer is far more stunning than a Koran. I would have made the same decition in your shoes 100 times.
