Can I put a Lion fish in with my mantis?

I just upgraded my 7" peacock mantis to a 55 gallon acrylic and I was wondering if it would be safe now to put a large Lion fish in with him?

I would try and stay away form that. I would think in the long run that one of them is going to get hurt.

Can you think of anything else that I can put in there.It seems to such a waste of a 55 gallon.

while i have not any experiance with manit shrimps. i would say throw a school of damsels in there. give him something to play with and you someting to watch. or turn it into a reef. a mantis reef.
