Can I put my 180 stand on cement blocks?

I am moving on the 31'st.

I need to get my tank in the basement of my new place (only option), it looks as if it got wet down there at some point.

Can I put solid cement blocks down on the floor, then my stand on top of the solid blocks? 175 bow front, cement blocks would be 72" length by 24" width a full cement block structure to lay the stand on top of. to keep from gettin wet.

Of course I would shim it and make sure its 100% level.

I just dont wanna worry about the stand gettin wet if it were to ever get wet down there again...

Please advise me with weither or not this is OK to do? or any other options I have to get the stand a little higher off the ground.

It seems like it'll be ok to do, but I just wanna hear what others have to say about it before I just go ahead and get it done.

Please I need to know ASAP, I wanna get the new tank over there tommorow or monday.

Put some plastic on top of the blocks. They wick water.

I don't see why not as long as they are stable and level. I've used cement blocks as stands for enough tanks over the years in basements.
