Can I store rodi water?

I was wondering if I could store rodi water in a brute can for top off water and mixing water? How long could I keep it in there with out being used? And is there any bad sides to storing it?

I keep it in a 35 gal. Brute. I'm curious if there is any downside as well. I have done it for a long time but curious anyway.

I kept my water in a 35g brute and it started stinking after a while because there was no water movement. I put a power head in there, which prevented the water from getting stale and it helped a lot.

I have mine in a brute 35 container with top and a powerhead. I also set it up with a cheap pump that will allow me to pump the water out to fill the refill bucket. I fill it and it last about three -four weeks. Been doing this at least a year. No issues so far. Also have a heater in the container to keep temp similar to tank temp.

This is how I want to set mine up and I think thts how long it would take me use it all before fill ups have u checked phosphate levels to if they go up

look for a container that is food grade it will have no harmful effect on tank and will not leach phosphates.
