can i use copper tubing?

i was wondering if any metal tubing could be used copper,aluminum couse thinking of using a new heater core from a car w a fan to keep my tank cool

advice is apreciated:D
 
The only recomended metal to be used for heat exchangers or heaters is basically titanium and some special types of stainless steele for small parts like pump or powerhead shafts seals and such.

thanks i will definatly go with plastick, a high grade stainless or even titanium would bee too expensive n hard too find even though would be cheaper in the long run verses a chiller
