Can I use other PH probe?

I'm looking for a controller and wondering if I can use my current Pin point PH probe on the AC Jr.
Also, I want to control the system with my computer through somekind of software, and not with the unit. It seems the screen is a little too small to work with. What do I need? I've read alot of stuff about AC but still a little confused.

I used my Pinpoint pH probe on my ACIII and it worked fine

Other brand pH probes will likely work just fine on our controllers. However, the official position is that only Neptune Systems brand probes are supported.
