can I use this in my CA reactor?

Just coral frags sold in LFS.I had it still in water for a few weeks.Think I as CA media?

looks like viable ca media to me. Did you soak them in RO water ? They normally require a slightly lower PH in your reactor to dissolve than smaller media, like ARM, etc, IIRC. Looks like the Gen-X/Schuran media that we use

Yep, you can totally use that! Crushed coral is pretty good to use too (small, lots of surface area). Lots of people give CC away when they switch to aragonite sand.

Afraid of phosphates? Toss some chaeto in the sump, it should help absorb the extra CO2 that is added by the reactor.
